Thor: Love & Thunder - 25 WTF Moments

2. Mid-Credits Scene: Brett Goldstein Is Hercules

The mid-credits scene sure is a weird and surprising one alright.

We cut back to Omnipotent City, where Zeus is recovering from injuries sustained during his fight with Thor and company. Zeus complains about humans' love of superheroes, before instructing his son Hercules to find and kill Thor.

The kicker? Hercules isn't played by a gigantic, over-muscled actor but rather Brett Goldstein, best known for playing footballer Roy Kent in the hit comedy series Ted Lasso.

It wouldn't surprise anyone if this was just a quick one-off gag and we'll never actually witness Hercules take on Thor in an MCU movie, but at the same time it sure would be a sight to see.
