Thor: Ragnarok - 10 Questions None Of The Trailers Have Answered

Doctor Strange's post-credits stinger set the scene for Thor: Ragnarok, confirming that the MCU's beer-refilling sorcerer will be helping the thunder god track down Odin.

But Stephen Strange is another character who has been largely absent in the trailers, featuring only in a short TV spot to offer his ally a warning about destiny's "dire" plans, and this seems to suggest his role won't be substantial.

So exactly what part does the doctor have to play in Ragnarok, besides keeping Thor's drinks topped up? Presumably he'll stay true to his word and help the Asgardians find Odin, but is that the extent of his involvement?

There's always a possibility Benedict Cumberbatch’s character will return for a brief cameo towards the end to set up Avengers: Infinity War. Ragnarok has Strange at its disposal, so it would be a shame if it didn't take full advantage of that.
