8. How Does Loki End Up On Sakaar?
Loki is a long way from home in the Ragnarok trailer when we see him watching from the stands as his adoptive bro does battle in Sakaar's galactic gladiatorial arena. When we last saw Tom Hiddleston's trickster, he'd faked his own death to pose as his father Odin and assume control of Asgard.
It should come as no surprise to hear that Loki turns out to be a terrible king, and Cate Blanchett has confirmed that his inept rulership is what releases Hela from her prison.
After arriving on the scene with chaos in her wake, it's safe to assume she banishes the god of mischief to Sakaar, but the how and why of the situation needs clarifying.
It also remains to be seen how Loki seems to end up in cahoots with The Grandmaster (since he appears to be a guest of him at the games), while his fellow Asgardians are enslaved. And then there's that scene where's he's been chained up. What exactly is going on?
