7. What Role Will Doctor Strange Play?
That Doctor Strange post-credits scene featuring Thor was cool and everything, but Ragnarok's trailers have left fans puzzled about how this puzzle piece fits in to the overarching Marvel Cinematic Universe jigsaw.
In the sequence, the god of thunder explains to the Sorcerer Supreme that he is on Earth with Loki searching for Odin, while the good doctor demos the greatest superpower ever - the ability to magically refill a beer glass.
Presumably this sequence takes place before Ragnarok, so does that mean Loki has told his brother that's has been posing as their father? If so, Thor appears to have taken it rather well.
Doctor Strange is nowhere to be seen in the trailers, so what role will he play in the third Thor movie? Are we looking at a brief cameo early on, or will he show up later to assist his new-found ally when the chips are down?
More likely it will be the former, but does Stephen Strange manage to help the Asgardian brothers track down Odin? And speaking of Odin...
