Easily the most divisive characters of the first two Thor films are Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis, the former being a disappointingly bland love interest for Thor and not a whole lot else, while Darcy was effectively a goofy comedy relief sidekick who you either loved or hated.

Ragnarok is all the better for the pair not being awkwardly shoved into the adventure, and while it's a shame more wasn't done with a world-class actor of Portman's caliber throughout the series, Thor's third film thrives just fine without her or Kat Dennings.

No more Mew-Mew, thank God, though it's a shame we had to lose Erik Selvig as well.
