Thor: Ragnarok - 10 Reasons To Be Excited

It looks like Ragnarok is coming, whether Thor and his demigod brethren like it or not, so we may as well embrace it.

We already know the Thunder God loses his hammer, which bodes ill for Asgard, but check out some of those images of mass destruction in the Comic-Con footage.

Then there's Hela's invading forces riding in on winged horses. They look like they mean business, so we can't bet against them when the final battle comes.

The Norse Apocalypse promises to deliver all kinds of epic events, not least an appearance by Fenris, that massive wolf who pops up in the trailer at the 1:30 mark.

In Norse scripture, this monstrous beast is actually one of Loki's offspring (which begs the question of what he gets up to on a Saturday night) and it is destined to kill Odin when Ragnarok comes to town.

We'd sound the spoiler alert klaxon, but it looks like Hulk will have a thing or two to say about Fenris's plans to murder Thor's father.
