Thor: Ragnarok - 20 WTF Moments

5. The Other Gauntlet

When the Infinity Gauntlet was added as an Easter Egg in the first Thor movie, as part of Odin's vault of treasures, it caused a plot hole that fans have nit-picked about for years since. When the Infinity War saga kicked off properly, Kevin Feige was even compelled to mention the glove, turning it into a canon element.

Thor: Ragnarok actually deals with the Easter Egg in a very funny way, having Hela break into the vault and belittle all of the treasures (bar the Tesseract, which she should have realised was more powerful and the Endless Flame). As she picks up the Gauntlet, she snorts derisively and calls it a fake, before dropping it to the floor. So the canon is fixed.

But wait... if it's a fake, why is it there? Does that man Odin was tricked by a shiny trinket? Or that he had it as part of his collection despite knowing it was a fake? Neither would make any sense, to be honest.
