19. Valkyrie Is Caiera The Oldstrong

Like Hela, Valkyrie is also an amalgamation of more than one character from Marvel Comics. Her role in the film as the Grandmaster's enforcer (albeit a freelancer) seems to be based on the role of Caiera the Oldstrong from Planet Hulk. Even the outfit she wears on Sakaar is based on Caiera's in the comics. It's slightly less sexualised, but the inspiration is obvious, and there's some of her Fearless Defenders run from 2013 too.

Later, the outfit she chooses for the final battle on Asgard is clearly based on the white and gold costume that debuted in the 1970s when Clea made it for her in The Defenders #47.
