7. Make Use Of The Supporting Cast

Both Thor films have featured great actors like Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Natalie Portman, Ray Stevenson, and more filling out roles ranging from Thor's parents to his best friends, yet we barely get to see them flex their chops beyond moments here and there. While we all love Tom Hiddleston's Loki, he shouldn't be the only supporting actor getting so much to work with. It still feels like none of the actors have had a chance to make the roles their own, especially with interesting characters like Heimdall, Odin, and the Warriors Three practically disappearing by the halfway point of The Dark World while the joke-spewing Darcy gets scenes back on Earth all to herself. Thor's supporting cast is a wealth of talent waiting to be mined, particularly when the characters themselves have so much potential to support whatever the actors could bring to the table given more to work with.
