16. Skurge

Skurge's arc in the comics - of a loyalist to Enchantress and Hela who ultimately sacrifices himself to save his people - should have suggested that he'd be a great character. So too should the casting of Karl Urban, who is never not interesting in strong character roles.

Unfortunately, he's one of the only mostly comic characters who fails to land properly - he's like a snivveling jock who doesn't so much join Hela's forces as simply start hanging around with her. His motivation is never sold enough and his morality is also under-developed so when pathos is required, it just doesn't satisfy properly.

Worst of all, Urban's British accent is awful and terribly off-putting and it's just not necessary for it to be as ostentatious as it was.
