On top of that slew of bad guys, Thor: Ragnarok will also see Creed and Selma alum Tessa Thompson fight the good fight as Valkyrie, Thor's fellow warrior and frequent love interest.

In the comics, Valkyrie is usually depicted as blonde and white, but director Taika Waititi wanted to "diversify the cast", so opted to place Thompson in the role instead - and she's a talented actress, so why not?

Elsewhere, Jurassic Park's Sam Neill announced that he'd be appearing in the movie, presumably as a result of working with Waititi on Hunt For The Wilderpeople.

The nature of Neill's role hasn't yet been revealed, but since the film already has Hela, Skurge and the Grandmaster in adversarial roles, we're betting the actor will be on Thor's side.

Our only hope is that Neill and Goldblum got to shoot a scene together, and made at least one Jurassic Park reference.
