4. The Rumour Mill

As you'd expect, and as is the case with every single Marvel project, a whole host of rumours have been swirling around Thor: Ragnarok. Take the following with a pinch of salt!

One of the biggest indicates a tie between this film, and the impending Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. Apparently, a scene in Ragnarok will see Thor and Hulk encounter the Cotati, a plant-like alien race credited with giving Mantis her powers - and Mantis is set to appear in Vol. 2, played by Pom Klementieff.

From that, there's also a slim chance that Mantis will actually appear in the Thor sequel, but this is unlikely.

Another rumour that ties Ragnarok to the rest of the MCU involves the all-powerful Infinity Stones, and more specifically, the Soul Stone - and the possible revelation that Idris Elba's Heimdall is in possession of it.

This particular train of thought stems from a line of dialogue in Thor: The Dark World, wherein Heimdall mentions he can see "nine realms and ten trillion souls".

The one colour of stone we're missing is orange, which just so happens to be the shade of Heimdall's eyes.
