There's Jeff Goldblum playing Jeff Goldblum, only with a blue bit on his face and spiky hair. No, silly, he's playing The Grandmaster, one of the Elders of the Universe, who looked different in the comics.

There are still flashes of his original look in there - the shoulder pads, the touch of blue, the spiked hair... Obviously Waititi didn't want to obliterate the Goldblum look too much.

Interestingly, the blue chin-strap also aligns him with The Collector. It must be an Elders Of The Universe sort of thing...

In one of the biggest revelations of the trailer, it turns out Valkyrie is actually working for The Grandmaster, or he is at least her client who "buys" the slaves she captures. Calling him a "contender" when she drops him off definitely suggests she does know who he is.

Thor, inevitably, is less than impressed...
