The trailers for Thor: The Dark World have so far given us several clues to what we will bear witness to in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure - and frankly it looks great. It seems as though Thor's brother, Loki, may redeem himself for his past actions and that someone very close to the titular hero will die. We know that Malekith, Kurse and the Dark Elves are set to appear as villains. We know there will be a lot of devastation on Earth but we also know there will be at least some exploration of all of the nine realms. All very promising and all very welcome. But what about the things that we don't want to see? The Marvel Cinematic Universe movies seem to keep getting bigger and better, with The Avengers movie bearing witness to the battle of New York and Iron Man 3 following up with that epic multi-armour battle at its climax. In order for Thor: The Dark World to go one better yet again, it runs the risk of overdoing things.
