5. "That's For New York..."
If there's a running joke of sorts spread across the span of Thor: The Dark World, it's based around what happened in New York during the climax of The Avengers, what with Loki being the main perpetrator during that incident and all. Given that he helped to open a portal to an alien world and nearly destroyed the Earth in the process, then, it's no surprise that certain individuals - Earth-dwellers, to be precise - aren't particularly happy with the God of Mischief. Which is why, upon meeting Loki in Asgard and learning that they'll be working together for a while, Jane Foster delivers a slap to his face. "That's for New York," she says through narrow eyes. "I like her," Loki tells his brother, grinning, presumably because he has respect for any mortal being willing to physically attack a supernatural entity from another realm. You can almost imagine "That's For New York" becoming a meme or a TV shirt or something, given how many characters are eager to convey this message to Loki in Thor.
