4. Stan Lee Cameo
Okay, so this isn't technically a MCU reference as much as it's just a Marvel Easter Egg, but where would any Marvel movie be without a cameo from the irreplaceable Stan Lee, the man responsible for giving us all these awesome movies in the first place? The answer you're looking for is: we wouldn't be anywhere. Besides, the Stan Lee cameos are so ingrained within MCU lore that it would be futile not to mention the latest one here. Though it was rumoured that Lee would be popping up as a bus driver in Thor: The Dark World, his cameo appearance is actually way more apt: he appears as a mental patient/crazy old man in that retirement home/institution where Dr. Eric Selvig spends part of the movie, and finds himself subjected to Selvig's scientific rants. It's another brief turn for the Stan Man, but this one will definitely have you laughing out loud.
