Time Traveling in August

One of the better populist novels (it was on the Richard & Judy book club) I've read in recent years, THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE has been messed around by New Line/Warner Bros. so many times, I'm hesitant to report that it looks like it's coming out on August 14th in case I put a curse on it. the-time-travelers-wife-photo Hopefully the last few major delays were because of the change of ownership after New Line folded into Warner Bros, and it was a case of a whole new strategy team being on board rather than any problems with the actual film itself. Eric Bana stars as a Chicago librarian who has a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel to different points of his life, causing complications with his marriage to Rachel McAdams. Ron Livingston co-stars for FLIGHTPLAN director Robert Schwentke. An awesome read, let's hope it translates.
