8. Down To You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrFey4EPA8Y In her first of two appearances on this list we pay special tribute to Julia Stiles who has sort of become (through her Afrocentric cinematic behavior) the unofficial white ambassador to black culture. Exhibit 1: Down to You. Apparently, around 2000 Freddie Prince Jr.'s deal with the devil expired and he began starring in a string of crappy films that all but ended his professional acting career. The first of his Faustian fails was a little number titled "Down To You". The plot is shabby and disposable (Surprise! He gets the girl) The only aspect of the film that stands out is the female lead. No big-chested, short-skirted vixen but a girl with real character and natural sexiness (a la Sissy Spacek). I'm of course talking about Julia Stiles, a wealth of talent who never got a fair shake. Don't agree? You will after you watch her in this clip from Down to You as she serenades Freddie Prince Jr. by way of Al Green's "Let's stay Together", providing a very sultry display of her attractive intangibles.

Raymond Woods is too busy watching movies to give you a decent bio. If he wasn't too busy watching movies and reading books about movies and listening to podcasts about movies, this is what he'd tell you. "I know more about film than you. Accept this as a fact and we might be able to talk."
