3. Rise Of The Guardians (2012)
Perhaps he hasn't been acquainted with all of you yet, but recent release Rise Of The Guardians (based on William Joyce's 'The Guardians Of Childhood' book series) features Alec Baldwin as the voice of North (i.e. Santa Claus). North is the leader of The Guardians, and unsurprisingly lives in the Ice Castle at the North Pole. North's fellow guardians include: Tooth (Isla Fisher as The Tooth Fairy), Bunnymund (Hugh Jackman as The Easter Bunny) and Sandy (The Sandman with no voice). Just think along the lines of Kung-Fu Panda but featuring these mythical childhood heroes. North, a computer-animated version of Santa Claus, is a great addition to the Christmas clan. His burly image, along with Russian-accent, is fun for the future generation of believing kids. His battle (along with fellow Guardians) against nemesis The Bogeyman (Jude Law), not only provides entertaining action for children, but also brings a sense of nostalgia for adults who also grew up with these fictitious figures. If you're not a fan of Santa stories, Guillermo Del Toro being the executive producer is reason alone to see this film!
