As seen in MARS ATTACKS! (Played by JACK NICHOLSON) In the spirit of cluelessly inept Presidents, we next have President James Dale. Faced with the prospect of an alien invasion, President Dale decides to take the good PR approach and come in peace Big mistake! In Tim Burton's campy B-move homage MARS ATTACKS! the aliens are anything but peaceful and proceed to kill and destroy everything in sight. Much like Peter Sellers, who well get to later, did in DR. STRANGELOVE, Jack Nicholson took on dual roles in MARS ATTACKS! Playing not only the naïve President but also a sleazy Las Vegas resident, both of whom meet very unfortunate demises; President Dale being stabbed in the chest by the alien leader as he attempts a handshake, makes the list for his sheer optimism.
