3. PRESIDENT THOMAS J. WHITMORE
As seen in INDEPENDENCE DAY (Played by BILL PULLMAN) When it comes to alien invasions, as President you have a number of options; you can do as President Dale does in MARS ATTACKS! and come in peace, or you can choose to do what President Thomas J. Whitmore does in INDEPENDENCE DAY and get in a fighter jet and blow their asses up! Played by the normally cutesy Bill Pullman, it helps that Whitmore is a former Persian Gulf War fighter pilot and that he didnt have much choice but to get back into the cockpit, after half of the militarys jet pilots had been killed by the invading E.T.s. But credit where credits due, he got up there and with the help of Randy Quaid's hillbilly former alien abductee, they give the aliens hell, in the process achieving a rather poetic Independence Day firework display.
