As ever, members of the Pixar Brain Trust will be overseeing the development of this project, which means that John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Doctor (who were all involved with the first Toy Story) and Lee Unkrich (who directed Toy Story 3) will all be involved with the story once more this time around. The new additions are Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, who are writing the screenplay together. Jones is best known for her acting work, with roles in hit US sitcoms The Office and Parks and Rec, while McCormack has been in a variety of shows such as The Sopranos and Dirt. They co-wrote the movie Celeste & Jesse Forever, which Jones was also the lead in. That slightly unconventional love story seems to have gone some way to getting them this gig, but it is a major step up for the pair, with Jones calling it "a dream come true."
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
