10. DJ Blu-Jay
Pixar tend to throw nods to their stable of characters into their new films, with Mike Wasowski appearing in the credits of Finding Nemo, Lotso Huggin' Bear appearing briefly in Up and Wall-E making a number of appearances across the Pixar Universe. Toy Story Of Terror follows the same trend, paying two separate homages to DJ Blu-Jay a character from Toy Story short Small Fry, which was of course written and directed Angus MacLane, the director of Toy Story Of Terror. The first of course comes on Bonnie's T-shirt in the image above, which isn't all that difficult to spot, but the second is a little more difficult to spot. When the toys are in Bonnie's bag on the way to the motel, Buzz and Jessie discuss Jessie's fear of being locked up, following her claustrophobia in Toy Story 2, before the toys disappear to explore the motel and find Mr Potato Head. Pixar released a promo shot of the scene, which features a lunch box and flask in the background, both of which also feature the image of DJ Blu-Jay...
