14. Shuhua Milk Product Placement (Again)

Transformers Age Of Extinction HParamount PicturesThe Transformers movies are shamelessly packed with product placements for just about every big business you can think of, though one of the most peculiar adverts in the last film, Dark of the Moon, was for Chinese Shuhua milk. At least Bay had the good sense to make it a fun scene, though this was more due to Ken Jeong's hilarious delivery ("May I finish my Shuhua milk!?") and the retort, "I don't care about your exotic milk! I care about respect." The placement must've gone down a storm in China, because Shuhua came back for round two, and in Age of Extinction, there's a brief scene where we see Stanley Tucci's Joshua Joyce sipping on a delicious carton of the white stuff, and once he realises that carnage is unfolding around him, he looks up, dragging the straw out of the carton without realising. Of all the product placement in the movie, this is probably the least obnoxious because it's such a little-known product in the West, and given that both cameos from both movies ended up being pretty amusing, we haven't got a problem with Shuhua making a third appearance in the inevitable Transformers 5.
