Transformers: Age Of Extinction – 19 Easter Eggs & References

12. Cobra Commander Logo

Transformers Age Of Extinction IParamount Pictures & HasbroHere's an easter egg that you really need to squint to see. It takes place during the third act of the movie, as Lockdown uses his ship's magnet to start lifting cars into the sky in an attempt to capture Optimus and the Dinobots, which very nearly means the end for Marky Mark, Stanley Tucci and co. However, when the magnet stops trying to pick them up, they begin to fall back to Earth, and we very briefly see an image of a poster which appears to resemble a familiar image. We are, of course, talking about the logo of the Cobra Commander from G.I. Joe. But why is this relevant? Because just like the Transformers toy line, G.I. Joe is owned by Hasbro. Though the logo appears to be slightly modified from its original appearance, we can't take this to be a coincidence: it has to be intentional!
