Transformers Age Of Extinction CParamount PicturesOne of the weirdest easter eggs in Age of Extinction is a...My Little Pony...cameo, prompting much online discussion over the last week as to whether or not Michael Bay might actually be a secret Brony. The scene occurs as Joyce calls his assistant Gill to try and find out the blast radius of the Seed, and when we cut to the lab, we see Gill having used the Transformium to create a model of Rainbow Dash, one of the main characters from the popular Hasbro series, before transforming "her" into a huge gun. We've complained before about Bay forgetting that Transformers has its roots in child-orientated entertainment, so perhaps this is a way for him not to forget the kiddies? Or perhaps he thought it'd be funny? Or maybe he just really loves My Little Pony? Either way, it was more strange and out-of-place than anything, though Bay may have just found himself a whole new audience demographic in 6-year-old girls...
