Tron 3: 5 Do's and 5 Don'ts

7. Do - Expand the Scope and Scale

For all its spectacle, Tron: Legacy feels like a very small and contained film. That's probably because the majority of the movie takes place inside a computer (more on that later in the list) and even though the set-pieces seem grandiose, you can't help but miniaturize all the goings-on to the size of a motherboard. What needs to take place in Tron: Think of Something Good to Put Here, Marketing People is what is teased at the end of the last film: a full scale invasion of our world by the denizens of The Grid. The stakes need to be as big as they can get or else the franchise can't evolve like it needs to.
