5. Tame Sex Scene
Granted, there's only so much they can get away with when broaching the awkward 12A rating, but after the bed-breaking hysterics of the last film, the sex in this film just feels exceedingly tame and, well, sexless. There's only one love scene in the entire film, but it's directed like a softcore porn film; soft lighting, lots of facial close-ups and shots of hands gripping, but of course, there's no nudity, nor really any indication that this is meant to be a visceral scene, despite what the two characters might suggest post-coitus. It's all the funnier when you remember that, at the time of filming, R-Patz and K-Stew were still a couple, so a lack of chemistry should not be a problem, but in the film their "steamy" quickie really doesn't seem that passionate; perhaps it's the pressure of being filmed, but it really comes off as sterile and not at all taking advantage of its leads' tremendous sex appeal (to fans, at least).
