Uncharted Movie: 8 Characters That MUST Appear

One of the things that fans took away from the first trailer for this movie was that it will drastically change the backstory of how Nate and Sully met. Instead of the former being a kid in Cartagena, picking on the wrong moustached mark, they will meet in a bar with the youngster significantly older.

In the opinion of many, this is just wrong. Sully doesn’t even have his moustache at this point, and for some reason, he appears to have a relationship with Sam before Nate. If there is at least one thing that the writers can salvage from changing everything now it is Katherine Marlowe’s role.

Sully was working extremely closely with Marlowe at the time he came across Nate on the streets, and he essentially chose the boy over her. Immediately this shows how special their relationship is, and how much they would one day mean to each other.

Without Marlowe in the equation for Sully to betray, since she slapped the young boy in the face and ordered him killed, the whole thing is missing something. Her role may have to be tweaked to fit this new story, but it would be worth it to keep at least some faithfulness to the source material alive.
