Uncharted Movie: 8 Characters That MUST Appear

As per usual, Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan will not be the only people after the treasure they so badly want in the Uncharted movie. Racing them to the gold will be Antonio Banderas, who will be playing an as of yet unconfirmed villain.

The role doesn’t appear to fit any of the previous big Uncharted bads, which could be seen as missing a trick. With several great villains to choose from, why would the studio go for an original villain instead of someone fans of the franchise would love to see?

What if one of the twists of the movie is that Banderas isn’t the main villain, but is simply acting on behalf of a bigger antagonist? This would be the perfect place to bring in the villain of Drake’s Fortune, Gabriel Roman as the man pulling the strings.

As an intimidating, ruthless businessman who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty when the time comes, and a strong English accent that seems to suit villainy so well in Hollywood, Roman could genuinely add something special to this movie, particularly if cast properly. Hugh Laurie, anyone?
