6. Tom Holland & Mark Wahlberg Are Horribly Miscast

While we all hoped that Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg would prove concerned fans wrong by doing justice to the roles of Nathan Drake and Sully, the stars are ultimately fatally miscast as characters they're basically nothing like.

Even accepting that Holland is playing a much younger version of Nate than most fans wanted to see in a movie, his basic personality, attitude, and mannerisms don't seem that distinct from his Peter Parker, while far from the wise-cracking, charming Nate we all know and love.

In fact, at times Mark Wahlberg bears more of Nate's personality traits, which is perhaps telling given that he was originally set to play Nate back when David O. Russell was circling the project in 2010.

As for Wahlberg, he's not much of a better fit for Sully, basically giving the Mark Wahlberg-as-Mark Wahlberg performance he gives in most of his blockbuster vehicles.

Worst of all, though, Holland and Wahlberg's chemistry feels strained throughout, ensuring there isn't even the basic joy of seeing their bond organically grow during the movie.
