While Uncut Gems' dialogue is, without question, one of its greatest attributes, the first couple of moments are so full on that it's hard to really get a grasp on what's happening.

This isn't particularly a bad thing because in all fairness to the film, it does come across as incredibly authentic (and it does give us time to catch up soon afterwards), it just makes it a little hard to follow as things are getting kicked off.
