2. It Doesn't Make Full Use Of Idina Menzel

While there isn't anything particularly wrong with the way in which Howard's wife Dinah is written, it does feel like the film could have done more with her considering it has an actress the calibre of Idina Menzel at its disposal.

A strong matriarchal figure, she's well aware that her husband isn't, well, the most trustworthy of sorts - one of the many reasons she was eager to leave him - and what we saw from her was great. As the film isn't told from her point-of-view, it makes sense that she's used sparingly, but, again, Menzel is one heck of an actress, so it goes without saying that the film could have benefited from giving her a meatier role.
