8. John Cena - Coyote vs. Acme
It's hard not to root for Coyote vs. Acme, a movie that Warner Bros. initially tried to shelve before finally relenting and allowing the filmmakers to seek distribution elsewhere.
And indeed, Coyote vs. Acme is finally coming out this August, centered around the incredible premise of Wile E. Coyote suing the Acme Corporation for selling him apparently faulty goods in his pursuit of Road Runner.
There's also some seriously inspired human casting in this movie, but nobody more than John Cena, who will play Buddy Crane, the monstrous, sociopathic lawyer working for Acme.
Considering that Cena is basically a walking cartoon character and this film's story was co-written by James Gunn, it feels like a totally fortuitous marriage of player and part.
From the recently released trailer, Cena looks like he's having an absolute ball, choking out Tweety Bird and getting threatened by Foghorn Leghorn, to say nothing of his interactions with Will Forte's opposing counsel Kevin Avery.
