20 Upcoming Movies That Made INCREDIBLE Casting Choices

The new Street Fighter movie looks both ridiculous and awesome, with the filmmakers smartly leaning into the fighting series' obvious absurdity rather than trying to serve up something serious.

They get extra credit for going the extra mile with the casting, but there's one casting choice that sticks out above all the others from what we've seen so far.

Fun though it is to see Cody Rhodes as Guile, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and so on, it's Callina Liang in the role of all-timer video game ass-kicker Chun-Li that's really doing the work here.

Callina's snarky attitude and action chops make her a perfect fit for Chun-Li, and while some fans have unsurprisingly already complained about her thighs not being quite as infamously jacked as they are in the video games, finding someone that fits those physical requirements while also being a skilled actor would've been a tall order. On the balance of everything, we won.
