Jordan Peele's fourth directorial effort was first announced in March 2023 for a Christmas 2024 release - a date which it obviously missed - and true to form for the filmmaker's prior works, a veil of secrecy has been cast over the entire project.

While most have assumed that Peele will be sticking in the horror genre, there's certainly not been any confirmation of that, so we know quite literally nothing about it apart from Peele being the director.

After the 2023 Hollywood labour strikes delayed production on the film, it was dated for October 2026, before being pulled from Universal's schedule entirely last September.

This suggests that Peele is probably still a ways away from being ready to shoot the film, whatever it is, and so it's probably unlikely we see it before 2028 - an entire six years since Peele's last film Nope.

However long it takes, though, you can pretty much guarantee that Peele will keep his cards close to the chest and offer up another intriguingly enigmatic marketing campaign.
