Valentine's Day 2013: 10 Scenes In Which Hearts Are (Literally) Torn Out
1. Last of the Mohicans (1992)
In the absolutely epic Last of the Mohicans movie, probably the most chilling scene occurs when a group of British soldiers, having come to an agreement of peace with the French, are ambushed as they set out on a journey to Albany.
The ambushing tribe of Mohicans are led by Magua (Wes Studi), who proceeds to cut the heart out of the chest of Colonel Edmund Munro (Maurice Roëves), whilst promising to kill his daughters so that his bloodline will end. A very brutal scene from a very brilliant movie.
