8. Riot's Ludicrous Plan For World Domination

Though Riot's journey to Carlton Drake is insanely convoluted, things don't get much better when the pair bond together and hatch a plan to bring millions of symbiotes to Earth from space.

Because of course, Drake has a rocket ship just lying around that's fully ready to go, and within just a few screen minutes of Riot and Drake agreeing on the plan, full launch preparations have already been made.

There's screenwriting economy and then there's insulting the audience's collective intelligence. Like other aspects of the film, this feels like a plot point that was probably shaved down in editing and probably played a little better in an earlier cut. Hopefully, anyway.
