9. Venom Infects A Dog

After Venom is removed from Eddie with the help of an MRI machine, the symbiote sneaks through the hospital's ventilation shaft and comes into contact with a small dog, which it promptly possesses.

Though the comics have occasionally had Venom bond with a canine, few fans could've reasonably expected they'd see it happen in a movie adaptation. But alas, the tiny dog bonds successfully with Venom - somewhat conveniently, it must be said - at which point it's confronted by Anne and, well, we'll get to that in a moment.

Venom couldn't just bond with a bada** looking dog, could he? It had to be the most effete, puny breed possible.
