8. That Insanely Goofy Bike Stunt

After Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) sends his goons to capture Eddie and retrieve the symbiote, Eddie fiercely fights back with Venom's help, leading to an energetic car chase with a few admittedly creative bursts of action.

If you were hoping the risible moment from the trailers where Eddie flies through the air and is pulled back onto his motorcycle by Venom's tendrils would look any better in the final movie, bad news: it doesn't.

A lot of early reviews have said that Venom feels like a movie dragged straight out of the early 2000s, and perhaps nothing in the film is more indicative of that than this garishly goofy moment, complete with blurry, repulsive CGI to boot.
