Venom: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
1. Venom
The star of the show, of course, is the Venom symbiote itself, which always feels like a distinct, separate entity from Eddie even when it's firmly bonded to his body.
The character gets the best one-liners, does the most interesting things action-wise and is really the main reason the film isn't an unmitigated disaster. He's still saddled with some painful dialogue and blurry digital effects, but the idea that he's a "loser" on his home planet and can be a star on Earth is pretty damn hilarious.
There's clearly room for the character to grow and become a little more consistently entertaining in the next film, and if nothing else, this is certainly a major improvement over the horrid Topher Grace version from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3.
How would you rank Venom's characters? And what did you make of the movie overall? Shout it out in the comments!
