Venom: Let There Be Carnage: 23 WTF Moments

4. Shriek's Brutal Death

Frances aka Shriek may have ultimately been a fairly underwhelming sub-boss in the film, but she sure gets one hell of a brutal death scene to make up for it.

Venom realises that, in order to defeat Carnage, he needs to attack him with either sound or fire.

And so, he makes the snap decision to knock Shriek from the top of the cathedral, triggering her sonic blast, causing both Eddie and Cletus to separate from the symbiotes and start falling to the floor.

We then cut back to Shriek, who hits the ground moments before the cathedral's bell follows, crushing her to death.

Even though we don't actually see the impact, it's still an impressively hardcore kill for a PG-13 movie, albeit sadly the only really memorable aspect of the character.
