Venom Spin-Off Movie: 5 Ways To Ensure It Won't Be Terrible

4. Give Him A Menacing Voice

Do you know what Venom sounded like in Spider-Man 3? Topher Grace speaking into a vocoder, that's what. Did they even watch the cartoons? Venom is Eddie Brock's dark and menacing side, one who's willing to harm and kill - he shouldn't sound like Eddie Brock; he should sound like Venom. That's not rocket science. Which is why they need to give Venom a deep growl, and I'm talking Christian Bale in The Dark Knight growl. He needs to sound like Corey Taylor with a throat infection, singing into an iPhone app that turns you into Brian Blessed. I'm being serious. Venom is all about the voice, and to forget to nail this particular element is - above all else - a crime against the very nature of the character.
