Venom: What Does The Ending Really Mean?
3. She-Venom Could Return
Though it's surprisingly glossed over in a single scene, Michelle William's Anne does end up becoming the She-Venom in order to save Eddie Brock late in the film. It's a major coincidence, considering just how few people are suitable hosts for the aliens in the movie, but it's undoubtedly cool to see.
The final scene between Eddie and Anne does follow up on this bit of fan service however, with the latter acknowledging that she actually quite liked the power that came from bonding with the symbiote. In fact, Venom even mentions to Eddie that their next goal should be getting her back from her current doctor boyfriend, so seeing the two interact more could open up a whole new dynamic in the sequel.
With her being one of the few humans capable of being a host, that power has to come into play somehow, and Anne herself doesn't seem all that phased by having to eat a few heads should she be called upon.
From a pure business perspective, Michelle Williams is contracted to return in the sequels, so it would make sense to expand on this one scene and give her a larger role outside of being the romantic lead.
