Venom: What Does The Ending Really Mean?
4. Multiple Symbiotes Can Bond Together
Venom's final action sequence is surprisingly brief, but there are a few interesting little details tucked inside that could come into play in future movies. One major reveal is that symbiotes can actually merge together, with Riot at one point absorbing Venom and being a stronger amalgamation of the two.
The synergy only lasts for a couple seconds, but it does raise a few questions going forward. We don't know too much about how these entities work outside of their relationship to human hosts, but this suggests that they can be merged with each other to become more powerful (which also seemingly merges the humans inside of them as well).
Whether this is used in the future to create even deadlier villains or blur the line even further between the host and symbiote is anybody's guess, but the dead corpses of the other alien samples captured by the Life Foundation could also come into play here. Future symbiotes could maybe be made from part of the Venom suit bonding with those corpses, or potentially even reverse-engineered from their remains.
