2. Toorop - Babylon A.D

After a certain abysmally bad film that we're getting to, Vin decided it was time to return to what he does best; big budget action. Everything that could have went wrong however, did go wrong as Babylon A.D failed miserably. Heres a film so worthless that upon release its own director blasted the holy hell out of it. Based on a novel (and evidently butchered) Babylon A.D tells a futuristic tale of a mercenary named Toorop tasked with escorting a mysterious woman from Russia to New York. Everything in the movie ranging from the forced love interest to the incomprehensible action sequences to the laughable story involving virgins birthing Gods is absurd and played shockingly straight. The acting is exceptionally awful never once getting the viewer emotionally involved in the plight of our heroes and instead opts for scenes of poorly shot and incomprehensible action. Babylon A.D is atrociously bad and no one should ever watch it unless youre someone like me tasked with detailing this editorial piece. Seriously, the movie rushes so frantically through its tiny running time of 90 minutes making it obvious no one will ever care about the characters or universe.
