Vince Vaughn: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

3. Eddie - Mr & Mrs Smith

While Mr & Mrs Smith was a bit too ridiculous even for my tastes, Vince Vaughn brought an unexpected verve to the few scenes he was in and alleviated the boredom I found struggling through. In what amounts to a glorified cameo (the film is pretty much entirely Pitt and Jolie's after all) Vaughn is arguably the most memorable character in the entire film.

On paper, this was a role that anyone should have been able to played, but the success of the performance is such that once viewed, it€™s hard to imagine anyone other than Vince Vaughn doing this. Anyone can scream and go crazy but Vince somehow manages to make it seem real, funny, and instantly memorable. I€™m probably not the only person who wished they would have made a movie about him and his character instead, or at least a spin-off.
