Vince Vaughn: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

4. Jeremy Grey - Wedding Crashers

Vince Vaughn

Quite frankly, the role of Jeremy Grey was the type of role that Vince Vaughn was born to play - he's basically an amoral man-child with as much charm as he has wholly unlikable characteristics. His conduct is deeply questionable, and in more traditional films, he may well have been made to get his comeuppance, and while he does get some karmic retribution to a certain extent, there's no doubt we are encouraged to see him as a hero.

With a great premise and a pitch perfect cast, Wedding Crashers was a surprise hit that saw Vince Vaughn slam dunking every scene. He and Owen Wilson have a surprising amount of natural chemistry, constantly bouncing off one another with a script that is truly funny. Throw in Christopher Walken, a sex-crazed Isla Fisher and the best-ever Will Ferrell cameo and you have a film that is able to transcend some of its predictableness.

This is Vince at his most inspired, full of energy and insanely entertaining, and very much the poster boy for the type of anti-hero who has a lot to answer for in the grand evolution of the YOLO generation.
