5. Bambi Yet again Disney gets screwed by Hitler and a lack of distribution. It seems really strange to list such an iconic animation in the list of Disney's biggest flops but strangely it just didn't appeal to audiences back in the day - perhaps something to do with the popularity of characters like Yankee Doodle Dandy. These days Bambi is an iconic tear jerker if there ever was one and has made up for initial teething issues many times over. It doesn't make up for the fact that they killed Bambi's mum tho.
