WandaVision: 10 Biggest Questions The MCU Must Answer
8. Will Agatha Harkness Return?
When Agnes revealed her true identity as Agatha Harkness at the conclusion of episode seven, many fans weren't particularly surprised, as this had been widely theorized since the very beginning. While many WandaVision fan theories famously didn't come true, this seemed one of the most likely right from the start.
In no way did this make Agatha any less of an antagonist however. Kathryn Hahn's character was compelling, powerful, and she had a genuine reason for being pissed off with Wanda Maximoff. When the credits rolled on the series finale, Agatha was still alive and being forced to live the nosy neighbour lifestyle in Westview. This left the door open for a return to the MCU, but is this an opportunity that Marvel Studios will take?
Her time as a main antagonist is likely up, but could she be utilised as something of a mentor to Wanda in the mystic arts, in a similar relationship to how Clarice Starling and Will Graham went to Hannibal Lecter for advice in Manhunter and The Silence of the Lambs respectively?
The final interaction between the two characters seemed to suggest a role for Agatha in the future, and while Hahn herself has said she is unsure if a return is on the cards, fans everywhere will be hoping one is.
